For more information go to the Outings Page - Meetings in St. George's Cafe - please can I remind people to arrive no more than 10 minutes early for any meetings held in the Cafe. If the cafe is not open, there are benches on the Kings Road side of the cafe where you can wait.

- Garden Lovers Sweetpea Challenge - who can grow the best vase of sweetpeas this summer? Get those seeds sown because there will be a competition for the Best in Group sometime in the summer
- Spanish Groups - there are now 3 Spanish groups as follows:
- Spanish Beginners A for absolute beginners (full)
- Spanish Beginners B for members with some basic Spanish (spaces)
- Spanish Improvers to brush up on conversational skills (spaces) - 2026-2027 Group Returns are now available on the Documentation page

Due to national u3a rules, several key members of the committee must stand down this year. We are in need of volunteers to take take their places to ensure that Great Yarmouth u3a can continue to serve retired and semi-retired people in the area.

- Fantastic offer on tickets from St. George's Theatre - St. George's Theatre is offering all our members a 20% reduction on ticket prices for shows St George's Theatre have produced themselves. This includes tickets for friends and family you may wish to treat to a show. When booking your tickets use the code SLIPPER
- Foreign Currency Collection - we have found a company that will exchange foreign currency for cash which we will use to help fund Great Yarmouth u3a. If you any foreign currency at home, please bring it along to the next monthly meeting. It doesn't matter whether it is still legal tender or not, for example French Francs, German Deutsche Marks or Spanish Pesetas are all acceptable.
